Surrey's Complaint Data

The IOPC publish regular updates about Surrey Police complaints data, as well as information about the Force’s performance against a number of measures. They also compare the results for each Force area to their most similar force group, and with the overall result for all police forces in England and Wales. This page sets out high level data with the option to access the IOPC data directly.

Allegations logged per 1,000 employees

Info: MSF stands for 'Most Similar Force' and the calculation of these averages are based on HMICFRS groupings.

Number of working days to finalise allegations

Info: This section presents the time it takes the force to finalise allegations by how they were handled. It gives a breakdown of allegations handled informally outside of Schedule 3 and those that were handled formally by either investigation or handled other than by investigation. Timeliness is calculated from the date the allegation was received by the force.

Allegations logged by topic

Info: The category of "delivery of duties and servces" had 2,536 allegations logged against it, but has been omitted from the above chart to improve visualisation. A comprehensive breakdown of subcategories can be found in the associated IOPC report.
